Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire at a street festival in Venice, killing one person and seriously wounding another.

Police are searching for a gunman who opened fire at the Abbott Kinney Street festival in Venice, killing one person and seriously wounding another.
The shooting occurred about Sunday night after the California Festival.
Adam Pacheco, 31, died at at a hospital, LAPD Officer Julianne Sohn said.
The woman, who is about 25, was hospitalized in critical condition with a gunshot wound to her face, Capt. Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Los Angeles Police Officer Karen Smith says witnesses saw a gunman dressed in black begin shooting. The suspect may have been a street vendor at the festival, police said.
Cecil Manresa, a fire department spokesman, says the two victims may have been shot following a dispute among people attending the fair.
Police are looking for a man who was described as Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build, shoulder-length dark hair and dark clothing.
