Police: Burglar Who Fondles Victims Struck Before

LOS ANGELES A man who allegedly broke into homes in the Lincoln Heights area and fondled women while they were sleeping was arrested a year ago for a similar crime in the same neighborhood, police said Friday.

Rogelio Galvan, 21, is suspected of burglarizing homes late at night on April 26 and 27.

"Galvan entered the homes through a window and fondled his victims while they (were) asleep," police said in a statement. "Over a year ago, Galvan was arrested for a similar offense in the same area."

The investigation, which included "forensic evidence," led detectives to believe Galvan was the suspect, police said.

Galvan is Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches and 140 pounds. Anyone with information on the suspect was urged to call police.
