A man identified himself as a police officer, tied up two workers in a movie theater office at the Buena Park Mall Monday and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
This happened at the Krikorian Premiere Theatres at 8290 La Palma Ave. at about 2:30 p.m.
Buena Park police Sgt. William Kohanek said the suspect displayed a gun and wore a white dress shirt with a tie and black slacks, along with sunglasses.
The man, who was described as 6 feet tall and thin, escaped in a newer, white four-door car, the sergeant said.
