Self-Proclaimed Preacher To Stand Trial For Murder

A former contestant on "The Sexiest Bachelor in America" pageant will stand trial on charges that he tortured and murdered his girlfriend, an ex-adult movie actress.
A Pasadena judge ruled Tuesday there's enough evidence to try 45-year-old Brian Randone, a self-proclaimed preacher. He remained jailed Wednesday on $2 million bail and could face life in prison if convicted.
Prosecutors claim that Randone beat and choked 31-year-old Felicia Lee last month in their apartment in the Los Angeles suburb of Monrovia.
Lee appeared in several adult films under the name Felicia Tang. She also modeled for the Playboy's TV channel and had bit roles in the movies "RushHour 2" and "The Fast and the Furious."
Randone was a losing contestant on the 2000 Fox special.
