Brandy's Mom Sues Kardashians Over AmEx Bills

In a courtroom battle that reality TV junkies will look forward to in rapt anticipation, the Kardashians are being sued by Brandy's mother because Sonja Norwood said the publicity-seeking E! clan ran up more than $120,000 in unauthorized charges on her credit card.

A judge ruled Wednesday that the trial would move forward and start sometime early next year. A tentative trial date was set for Feb. 17, 2009.
Norwood alleges that Kim Kardashian, and her siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Jr., made the unauthorized charges on her American Express card in 2006 and 2007 for more than $120,000.
Norwood also said she authorized Kim to use the card...once...when she worked as Brandy's stylist. Brandy's mother now insists the card was used frequently, by Kim and her siblings, and also used to help the Kardashians buy purchases for their trendy clothing stores Smooch and Dash.
Norwood's lawsuit seeks a return of the $120,000 plus 10 percent interest.
The Kardashians denied they used the card without authorization and said they had Mrs. Norwood's permission.
Kim Kardashian is the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian, a member of O.J. Simpson's dream team of high-powered lawyers.
