Viewing, Funeral Set For Slain South L.A. Boy

Dae'von Bailey, 6, reported being abused and twice received medical care in the months before he was killed.

A public viewing will be held Friday night for a 6-year-old boy who was found beaten to death, allegedly by his stepfather, in South Los Angeles.
The viewing for Dae'von Bailey will be held at Hunter-Perez Mortuary, 5443 Long Beach Blvd. in Long Beach.
Dae'von's stepfather, 36-year-old Marcas Fisher, is suspected of beating the child to death.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Light of the World Church of God in Christ, 113 E. Rosecrans Ave. in Compton.
Both the viewing and Saturday's funeral are open to the public.
A memorial fund was established to help cover funeral and burial expenses. Contributions can be made to:
