Boat Catches On Fire In Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY (CBS) ― A boat caught on fire near the north jetty of Marina del Rey, two people were rescued safely. The blaze was reported on Tuesday at about 10:41 a.m.

The two people on the 30-foot boat were rescued by people on a nearby boat. 

Firefighters put out the fire in 21 minutes.

D'Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department said the boat that caught fire for unknown reasons was just inside the breakwater near the shoreline.
