6 Hurt In Big Blue Bus Crash
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Six people were hurt when a Santa Monica Big Blue Bus crashed into a wall, a police officer said.
The accident took place at 11350 West Pico Blvd., near Sawtelle Boulevard, around 9:30 p.m., said an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's West Los Angeles Station.
Six people were transported to area hospitals with minor injuries, "mostly scrapes and bruises," Sgt. Barry Montgomery of the Los Angeles Police Department's West Traffic Division said.
One of the injured people was the driver of the bus, who had a medical condition that apparently caused him to pass out while driving, he said.
