Usually a swarm of bees
not stinging someone wouldn't be news...but when the bees go Hollywood, and in front of the Kodak Theatre no less, the world takes note.
No one was stung Sunday, when a large swarm of bees came to rest at a bus stop in front of the landmark Hollywood theater.
Police and fire units were sent to the scene at 12:30 p.m., but the bees had disappeared by the time units arrived.
Apparently the bees discovered "Bee Movie" was no longer playing and they left in a huff. Or is that a buzz?
The intersection is crowded with tourists most days, and the site of the
red carpet ceremony for the Academy Awards and most recently the Daytime Emmys.
