FBI Searching For 'Baseball Bandit'

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― The FBI is looking for a suspect who is wanted for the robbery of a series of banks in the San Gabriel Valley, it was announced Tuesday.

The suspect who always wore a baseball cap held up several Bank of America branches. He robbed one branch of the bank in Industry on August 18, another one in Alhambra on August 31 and another in Duarte on Sept. 28. The suspect also robbed a Citizens Business Bank in San Marino on Sept. 26, according to Laura Eimiller of the FBI.

The bandit brandishes a weapon and carries a single strap canvas book bag when he enters a bank.

The suspect has a V or U-shaped tattoo on the right side of his neck. The FBI is also looking for the bandit's accomplice who drives his getaway white compact sedan.

The baseball bandit is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 to 180 pounds, of medium build, with brown eyes, in his early 20s and has a mustache. He normally wears white tennis shoes, blue jeans, and a black long-sleeve dress shirt.
