As many as six people were wounded Friday in a shooting after an apparent bar fight in Rosemead, and one man was listed as "death imminent," authorities said.
The shooting happened at Casa Latina at 8800 Garvey Ave. at about 1:30 a.m., said Sgt. Hector Velasquez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Temple Station.
The wounded man was taken to County-USC Medical Center, he said. He was listed as "death imminent," the sheriff's department reported. Deputies also located two victims who fled from the scene of the shooting at Muscatel and Fern avenues, he said.
There was no immediate word on their conditions.
"Right now, we're trying to figure out whether some of these victims are actually suspects in the shooting," Velasquez said early Friday.
Velasquez said the violence appears to have broken out during an altercation inside the bar, then spilled outside.
A gun that had been thrown in the street was also recovered.
A search and investigation is ongoing. No suspects have been taken into custody.
