Crews Put Out Brentwood Apartment Blaze

BRENTWOOD, Calif. (CBS) ― Fire crews knocked down a blaze at a three-story apartment building in Brentwood Sunday.

The fire, which started at 7:41 p.m., was burning at 11666 W. Goshen Ave., near the VA Hospital, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Humphrey said about 120 firefighters put out the blaze within 45 minutes, which was heaviest on the third floor.

One firefigher sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to Humphrey.
