Anna Nicole's Ex Sues For A Piece Of Her Estate
LOS ANGELES (AP) ―
A former boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith who is currently serving six years in state prison for making criminal threats against her wants a piece of her inheritance, according to court documents.
Mark Hatten, whose current address as the Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, dated Smith in 2000 but was later found guilty of threatening her with a knife and assaulting one of her neighbors. He was acquitted of stalking her.
Hatten's Web site says he is writing a memoir entitled "Hollywood Bad Boy: Sex, Drugs, and Anna Nicole."
He filed his claim Wednesday in Superior Court.
The reality TV star and former Playboy Playmate of the Year had fought Marshall's family over his estimated $500 million fortune from his death until her own death earlier this year.
Smith, 39, died in Florida on Feb. 8 of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.
