Angie Everhart Says No Contest To Reckless Driving

DUI Charge Is Dismissed After Actress/Model Cops Plea

LOS ANGELES It could have been worse. But actress/model Angie Everhart pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor reckless driving charge stemming from an April 24 traffic stop in Los Angeles.

That charge was lessened from the original misdemeanor charge of DUI leveled against the sexy red-haired siren.

Still, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Paul T. Suzuki ordered Everhart -- who entered her plea through her attorney -- ordered her to enroll in a 12-hour alcohol education program and not to drive with any measurable amount of booze in her system, according to Frank Mateljan of the City Attorney's Office.

The judge also gave Everhart 36 months on probation and ordered her to pay a $300 fine.

Everhart, 38, was arrested early on the morning of April 24 by the Los
Angeles Police Department's Central Traffic Division and released later that same day.

The actress, who  was engaged until the time of her arrest to actor Joe Pesci, was formerly linked with one-time fiance Sly Stallone.
