Teacher Arrested For Alleged Sex With Student

ANAHEIM, Calif. (CBS) ― A Savanna High School substitute teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting an underage student at the Anaheim school.

Marc Alan Silberman, 27, of Anaheim is charged with a felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object of a minor and a misdemeanor count of
child annoyance, according to O.C. District Attorney spokesperson Farrah Emami.

Authorities said the student reported the incident on Friday.

Silberman was arrested at his Anaheim home Saturday night, Anaheim police Sgt. Rick Martinez said.

Police have not released the victim's age and the location of the crime to protect her identity.

Silberman was scheduled to be arraigned at the North Justice Center in
Fullerton Tuesday afternoon.
