Pedestrian Killed In Collision With Glendale Train

Officers with the Glendale Police Department Monday responded to a collision in Glendale involving a pedestrian and a train.

A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday by a train in Glendale, authorities said.
The fatality occurred about 11:35 a.m. at San Fernando Road south of the Ventura 134 Freeway, a Glendale police sergeant said.
The incident involved Amtrak Train #774, according to Mike Case, who was overhead in Sky 9.
The circumstances of the death of the pedestrian, whose name was not immediately available, were under investigation.
