Porn Director Charged With Green Card Wedding Scam

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― A Los Angeles adult film director has been arrested on charges of staging a sham marriage to a Hungarian woman who wanted to stay in the country.

David Crawford, known in the industry as David Lord, and the woman were arrested Wednesday.

The U.S. attorney's office charged him with perjury for lying on an immigration application for the woman.

Authorities say Crawford, the owner of Primal Productions, stated in an application for a green card that he lived with the woman when they did not.

Prosecutors say the woman was a prostitute who worked at a brothel in Sherman Oaks.
