'Desperate' Actor Injured In Bike Wreck
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Actor Gale Harold, who has a role on "Desperate Housewives," was seriously hurt in a motorcycle wreck and is in critical condition.
USC Medical Center spokeswoman Adelaida De La Cerda said Harold
was awaiting further tests.
Publicist Nancy Seltzer said Wednesday that Harold fractured his shoulder, and "Housewives" creator and executive producer Marc Cherry said he apparently has swelling on the brain but was expected to make a full recovery.
Harold plays Jackson, the boyfriend of Terri Hatcher's character, who plays a pivotal role in the fifth season's eighth episode.
His agent was unavailable for immediate comment.
Harold, a regular from Showtime's "Queer as Folk," has had roles on "Grey's Anatomy, "Deadwood" and "Vanished."
According to his bio, he once worked as a Ducati motorcycle mechanic.
