Santa Clarita Man, 23, Dies In Crash On 14 Freeway

ACTON, Calif. (CBS) ― A 23-year-old Santa Clarita man was killed Friday morning in a crash on the 14 Freeway near Acton, authorities said.

The victim, whose name has not been released, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred just before 5 a.m. near Crown Valley Road, California Highway Patrol said.

The accident prompted the closure of two northbound lanes while authorities conducted an investigation, CHP Officer Monica Posada said.
