A man and a woman were killed when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a pickup truck on the 91 Freeway Friday, according to officials.
Bron Garrett Hodnick, 38, was driving the bike, and his passenger was Kylie Frederic, 26, according to the Riverside County coroner.
Both were residents of Norco.
The accident was reported at 5:53 p.m. on the eastbound 91, a mile east of the busy Interstate 15 interchange and just west of the McKinley street interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet pickup in the fast lane, a CHP dispatch supervisor said.
Hodnick was pronounced dead at the crash scene at 6:10 p.m., according to the coroner. Frederic was transported to Riverside Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead about an hour and a half later, coroner's officials said.
At least one lane on the 91 freeway was closed for approximately four hours Friday night for the crash investigation, a CHP dispatch supervisor said.
