Police Find 'Baby Jane Doe' Crawling On Sidewalk

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Authorities are looking for the parents of a 6-month-old girl that was found crawling on a sidewalk near downtown Los Angeles.

The baby girl is Hispanic and in good health, she was found crawling on the sidewalk near 25th Street and Broadway Monday evening.

The girl was placed under the care of the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services, police said.

Anyone with information about the child or her parents was asked to call Detective Beatriz Cid or Detective Margarita Sanders of the LAPD at (323) 866-6571.
