A small brush fire broke out Tuesday afternoon near the westbound 210 Freeway in the Lake View Terrace area, prompting the closure of the westbound lanes, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the area near Hubbard Street about 1:30 p.m., d'Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Traffic was being diverted onto the westbound Ronald Reagan 118 Freeway, California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Gonzales said.
Vehicles heading eastbound on the 118 Freeway traffic were limited to transitioning onto the eastbound 210, Gonzales said.
The fire had burned approximately two to three acres.
