Pedestrian Dies On 110 Freeway Onramp Downtown
LOS ANGELES
A pedestrian died on an onramp to the Harbor 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles Friday morning, authorities said.
The man was found unresponsive on the West 8th Street onramp to the northbound Harbor 110 Freeway at approximately 4:20 a.m., California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos said.
"It appears to be a medical issue," Villalobos said. "It does not appear to be a traffic-related incident."
The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
The onramp will be shut as authorities investigate the death, Villalobos said.
