Police say a San Bernardino County man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after he drove the dead body of his ex-girlfriend to a hospital in Los Angeles, where doctors said the woman had been dead for quite a while.
Forty-year-old Ho Chun Kang is being held without bail Wednesday, according to the San Bernardino County sheriff's Web site.
Kang arrived in his van at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles on Monday with the body of 47-year-old Caroline Kim.
Authorities say Kang had been scheduled to appear in court Monday on charges of domestic violence against Kim.
Redlands city spokesman Carl Baker says the pair had met up Sunday night at a church in that city, where Kim's car was later found.
An autopsy was planned to determine the cause of Kim's death.
