Report: Bynum Cleared And Ready To Dominate

ATLANTA, GA (CBS) ― Lakers' center Andruw Bynum has reportedly been cleared by team doctors for full-contact practices.  Bynum's agent says he is now expecting the Lakers to offer a max contract to keep Bynum in L.A. for a long time.

"We aren't going to talk [about a contract] again until September," agent  David Lee said, "but I don't have any concerns."

Bynum is in Atlanta working out with a personal trainer and has extended the Lakers an standing invitation to drop in and examine his progress.

"He's absolutely fine, he's going to come in as a beast," Lee said. "He's got no atrophy anywhere. The kid's in great shape. Maybe it comes with being 20 years of age."

Lee will reportedly be seeking a 5-year, $80 million contract extension for his client.
