CONTEST RULES
KCAL 9 PRESENTS
"THE LAKERS LOCKER SWEEPSTAKES"
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. How to Enter the Contest:
(a) The KCAL 9 "The Lakers Locker Sweepstakes," will be conducted live on the air during the broadcast week of each of forty-two (42) select Los Angeles Lakers games scheduled to air in Southern California on KCAL9-TV for a total of twenty (23) broadcast weeks.

Viewers must consult their local listings or watch KCAL9-TV for scheduled times of the broadcast game(s) in the Southern California area. KCAL9-TV is not responsible for the cancellation or interruption of any broadcast games within the contest period due to breaking news coverage, emergency, weather, or technical difficulties. The contest ends for all eligible games each broadcast week on Sunday at 11:59pm PST during the contest period.
Contest is sponsored by KCAL9-TV, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. and Hawaiian Gardens Casino, Inc.
(b) To participate in the contest, watch a broadcast of a Los Angeles Lakers game on KCAL 9-TV on one or all forty-two (42) game days of the contest period for a chance to win. Watch and listen the for the Lakers Locker combination during the game and go to www.kcal9.com to enter the day's winning locker combination.
(c) Only one (1) Internet entry per e-mail address per scheduled game date. An online entry submitted is deemed to be made by the holder of the e-mail account. All entries become property of the KCAL9-TV and will not be returned.
(d) KCAL9-TV, KCBS2-TV, CBS Corporation and sponsor are not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the Contest or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Contest is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.kcal9.com. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or website or violates the Official Rules of the Contest.

(e) Broadcasts are subject to preemptions and scheduling changes. If such changes occur they will be posted on the www.kcal9.com website

(g) Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
(a) The contest is open to Southern California residents who are 18 years of age or older*. Employees of The Los Angeles Lakers, Inc., NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., Hawaiian Gardens Casino, Inc., KCAL 9-TV, KCBS-TV, CBS Corporation, other television and radio stations in the Los Angeles market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household are ineligible to participate or win. (*For week 16 of the sweepstakes from February 8-14, 2010, you must be 21 years of age or older to be eligible for that prize.)
(b) Viewers are eligible to win a KCAL9-TV and KCBS-TV contest only once every sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Viewers are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.
(c) All entries become the sole property of Station and will not be returned. By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules, and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work.
(e) Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13.
3. Prizes:
(a) Grand Prize Package: One Grand Prize Winner will receive two (2) courtside seat tickets to a Los Angles Lakers game at the Staples Center during the 2009-2010 season, including dinner for two (2) at a restaurant to be determined and roundtrip limousine service to and from the Staples Center for the game. Ticket date and time to be determined. Total Value of the Grand Prize Package: $5,350.
Secondary Prizes:
A total of twenty-three (23) secondary prizes will be awarded during each of the twenty-three (23) eligible broadcast weeks during the contest period. Twenty-three (23) winners will each receive one of the following items: a $500 shopping spree redeemable at the Lakers Team Store at the Staples Center, one (1) Honorary Team Captain invitation, one pair of tickets (2 tickets) to a Los Angeles area Concert, one pair of Suite tickets (2 tickets) to a Lakers game, Limo Ride for two (2), Dinner for two (2), one (1) autographed basketball of Kobe Bryant, James Worthy, Pau Gasol, or Lamar Odom, one (1) Nintendo Wii and applicable Nintendo games, Lakers West Coast Road Trip for two (2), an invitation to the LTV set and meet and greet with Jim Hill and James Worthy, VIP Arena Tour for two (2), one (1) autographed jersey, one (1) Lakers Game Ball Delivery, and entry for two (2) to Media Day, one pair of tickets (2 tickets) to a Lakers game at Staples Center, one (1) $50 certificate to Wingstop Restaurants, one (1) Tournament Entry certificate for Hawaiian Gardens Casino, one (1) Blue Man Group getaway to Las Vegas for two (2) people. Travel, dates, times and specifics of secondary prizes are to be determined. Total average value of secondary prizes ranges: $20-1200.00. Value may vary due to merchandise and current market conditions.
All other costs and expenses in connection with winner's receipt and use of the prize(s) are the winner's sole responsibility. Prize Winners are responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein, including gratuities, other transportation, passport expenses, other expenses and other incidentals. Inability of the prize winner(s) to accept prize, as stated, will result in forfeiture of prize and an alternative winner will be chosen. Other restrictions may apply.
(b) Prize does not include items not specified, such as travel insurance, hotel room service, parking fees, laundry service, food, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, etc.
(c) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV, 4200 Radford Avenue, Studio City, CA, 91604. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed via telephone when contacted by KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, the winner assumes the risk of its arrival. KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV has up to 60 (sixty) days in which to release or deliver the prize to the prize winner.
(d) Contest Prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Station reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable value.
4. Selection of Winners:
(a) Decisions of contest sponsors with respect to the contest are final. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
(b) Secondary Prize Winners:
At the conclusion of each of the eligible twenty-three (23) broadcast weeks during the contest period, one winner will be chosen through a random drawing from all online entries received with the correct answer to the locker combination of the week.

Grand Prize Winner:
Each of the twenty-three (23) preliminary winners automatically becomes eligible to win the Grand Prize Package. One Grand Prize Winner will be chosen at random from the twenty-three (23) secondary prize winning entries on Monday, April 12, 2010.
(c) A representative of KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV will contact the winner by telephone. If KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV is unable to contact a winner based on the information provided on the entry form through the initial phone call, an alternate winner will be selected from all other eligible entries. Winner(s) must be present on the phone to win and accept the prize as stated. KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV is not responsible for any winner's inability to answer their phone(s) when prize(s) are being awarded by KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV.
5. Conditions:
(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station.
(b) By participating in the contest, the winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. If a prizewinner is a minor, prize may be awarded to the minor's parent or legal guardian and that winner's travel companion must be his/her parent or legal guardian. Unless a member of winner's immediate family, travel companion must be 18 years of age or older. Travel companion must travel with winner and must also sign and return a travel release, which must be returned with winner's affidavit of eligibility. Station reserves the right to change trip dates and specifications and/or to substitute a prize of equal value. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Station the right to use the winner's name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release the Los Angeles Lakers, Inc., NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees and agents, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., Hawaiian Gardens Casino, Inc., KCAL9-TV, KCBS-TV, CBS Corporation, their respective parents and subsidiaries, officers, directors, shareholders and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, illness, mistreatment by international governing bodies, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.
6. KCAL9-TV reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement. In the event of a misunderstanding, dispute or human error, KCAL9-TV management will make the final determination of the prize winner. By entering this contest, contestants agree to be bound by these rules and any KCAL9-TV management decision concerning the contest.
7. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.
8. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification.
