The Doctors: Meet Dr. Lisa Masterson

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― The Doctor: Lisa M. Masterson

Speciality: Obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, adolescent gynocology, family planning.

The Doctor Is In: And very busy. Dr. Masterson is also on staff at Cedars-Sinai, has a private practice in Santa Monica, founder and medical director of the Ocean Oasis Medical Spa in Santa Monica. It's a spa tailored to women (but men can also come in for a little pampering.)

We're Impressed: In her spare time (she has spare time?), Dr. Masterson also is heavily involved in her charity Maternal Fetal Care International (MFCI), a group that helps women in poor regions of the world learn about proper fetal care and birthing techniques. Currently, Dr. Masterson is creating the first OB/GYN residency program in Eritrea, Africa. "And I have started birthing clinics in Kenya and India."

Studied Where: Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, graduated from USC Medical School.

You've Seen Her Before: "Good Morning America," "The Today Show", "Dr. Phil", "Oprah" and the Lifetime series "What Should You Do?"

Marital Status: Married. She and her husband have a 17-year-old son.

Hobbies: Surfing, learning French (ooh, la la!)

Little Known Fact: Her mom was also a high achiever. She was a professor who served in the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) department and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Bottom Line: With her smarts, charm, beauty and warmth, she could even make a guy wanna see a OB/GYN.
