The Doctors: Meet Dr. Travis Stork

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― The Doctor: Dr. Travis Stork

Speciality: He's an ER doc at a trauma center in Colorado. And he loves the adrenaline rush of the ER. You can tell since when he isn't working, Dr. Stork likes kayaking, mountain and road biking, hiking and fending off many female admirers.

The Doctor Is In: Danger. Of becoming a huge TV personality.

We're Impressed: Not just a pretty face and body, Dr. Stork loves to empower people. He fairly glows when talking about his work. While he loves his work in the ER, he knows with preventative health, many people can avoid the ER altogether.

Studied Where: Magna cum laude from Duke, an M.D. (with honors) from the University of Virginia. Completed his residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

You've Seen Him Before: Yup, he was "The Bachelor in Paris" on ABC. "But the 'Doctors' is where people will see the real me", he says. He's also made numerous appearances on "Dr. Phil" and "Rachael Ray".

Marital Status: Single. Ready to mingle. Although he is hanging out with one special female: his adorable pooch Nala.

Hobbies: Writing. Anything in the great outdoors.

Little Known Fact: Dr. Stork is also the author of "Don't Be That Girl: A Guide to Finding the Confident, Rational Girl Within."

Bottom Line: He has a great sense of humor and humility, rare in an ER doc. And yes, he's been asked why Dr. Stork didn't become a baby doctor! (And we thought we were original when we asked.)
