Station Fire Burn Area Assessed For Slide Risk

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― As the Station Fire continued to burn Friday, officials began to assess the risk of flooding and mudslides presented by the hundreds of square miles of scorched terrain left behind.

David Goldstein took a photograph of a draft of the Burn Area Emergency Response (BAER) team's preliminary assessment of the areas, as of Friday, September 11, 2009.

Red indicates areas at high risk for flooding and slides, yellow moderate and light green denotes a low risk.
