Man Fatally Shot In Palmdale

PALMDALE, Calif. A man was shot to death in Palmdale on Monday morning, according to the sheriff's department.

The shooting took place in the 100 block of East Avenue Q-4 at 11:25 a.m., said Sgt. Diane Hecht of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.

The man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives are investigating circumstances of the shooting.
