Crews Knock Down Massive Brush Fire In Gorman

Firefighters put out a large brush fire in Gorman Sunday.

A brush fire burned about 120 acres in Gorman Sunday, a county fire official said.
The fire started around noon near Hungry Valley State Vehicular Recreation Area, Supervisor Al Jackson of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
"There was 120 acres total, and they're wrapping it up now," Jackson said of the brusher, which was knocked down at 3:20 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
There were no evacuations, and no structures were threatened or damaged, he said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
