Brush Fire Contained In Riverside County

REDLANDS, Calif. (AP) ― Firefighters surrounded a 98-acre brush fire in San Timoteo Canyon in Redlands.

Riverside County fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said the blaze was fully contained at 8:20 p.m. Monday, five hours after it was reported.

No structures were threatened and there were no injuries.

Hagemann said 210 firefighters battled the fire, aided by three water-dropping helicopters and three air tankers.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
