Crews Put Out House Fire In La Canada-Flintridge

LA CANADA-FLINTRIDGE, Calif. (CBS) ― Fire crews knocked down a blaze at a home in La Canada-Flintridge Monday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire, which was reported at 8:40 a.m., was located at the 5300 block of Ivafern Lane, near Crown Avenue and the 210 Freeway, according to dispatch reports.

Smoke was reportedly seen coming out of the attic and the house appeared to be empty.

Firefighters doused the flames within 45 minutes.

No injuries were reported and an investigation into the cause of the blaze was under way.
