Kidman: 'I want another baby'
Nicole Kidman is so desperate for more children she has considered turning her back on Hollywood to expand her family.
The Oscar-winning actress gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July by husband Keith Urban and has two adopted children, Isabella and Connor, from her previous marriage to actor Tom Cruise.
And at the premiere of her new epic film Australia, Kidman revealed she is keen to have more babies with her country music star husband - and would be happy to put her movie career on hold in order to extend her family.
She says, "In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don't know. I'm in a place in my life where I've... had some great opportunities. And I may just choose to have some more children.
"I have no idea what's in my future but I am very at peace with where I am going to be and there's many things I want to do besides act."
Spears: 'I'm still paying for breakdown'
Britney Spears' comeback is bittersweet - because the star feels "no excitement, no passion" for singing after her infamous breakdown.
The star was hospitalised twice earlier this year (08) and lost custody of her sons Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James after a series of public meltdowns, including a headline-grabbing incident when she shaved her head.
Speaking in new documentary, Britney: For The Record, the singer says, "I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you're gonna get out.
"But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like Groundhog Day every day."
The star's fortune is being kept under indefinite control by father Jamie as part of a co-conservatorship agreement with the courts - but Spears is wary that those closest to her are stifling her creativity.
She continues, "I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening."
And Spears, who is enjoying success with new single Womanizer, is convinced she is still paying for the breakdown she suffered in the public eye.
She adds, "If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free."
And even though her "weird" life is all she's known, Spears didn't realize how famous she was until her breakdown.
She adds: "I think I've learnt my lesson now and enough is enough."
Carey still young at heart in relationships
Mariah Carey is baffled by the media's fixation with her toyboy husband Nick Cannon - because she could never imagine herself with a "boring and bleak" older partner.
The singer, 39, married actor Cannon, 28, in April (08) after a whirlwind six-week romance - and she admits she is still fending off questions from the press about their decade-wide age gap.
But the star insists she is still very much young at heart - and would never again pair up with an older man after her failed marriage to music mogul Tommy Mottola, who was 20 years her senior.
Carey explains, "I don't see what the big deal is. Should I be with an old fuddy-duddy who would be boring and bleak? I have fun. It doesn't really matter to me. I've already dealt with someone who was older than me.
"I don't want to go back there. It's not about the age, it's just about finding the right person for you."
Carey and Mottola split in 1998 after five years of marriage.
Ill Dion scraps handful of shows
Celine Dion has been forced to postpone a string of shows on the North American leg of her world tour due to a persistent respiratory virus.
The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker pulled out of performances in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Chicago, Illinois and Indianapolis, Indiana earlier this month (Nov08).
And now she has been ordered by doctors to scrap further concerts in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kansas City and St Louis, Missouri; Salt Lake City, Utah; San Jose, California; Omaha, Nebraska and Denver, Colorado.
Dion is recuperating from a recurrent infection that has been further complicated by inflamed vocal cords, according to a statement released by concert promoter AEG Live.
The firm adds: "Her physician has instructed her to refrain from singing in order to completely recover."
The singer, who is currently on her Taking Chances world tour, has already rescheduled the dates for December (08), January and February (09).
Ryan wins Germany's Bambi award
Actress Meg Ryan will be honored with Germany's Bambi lifetime achievement award for her longrunning Hollywood career.
Ryan has been named as the winner of the lifetime achievement for best international actress gong in this year's (08) Bambi awards - an annual ceremony for the entertainment industry organized by Germany's Hubert Burda Media group since 1948.
Bambi organisers named the star as the deserving honoree because she "made film history" with her fake-orgasm scene in her 1989 hit movie When Harry Met Sally - branding the actress as the "queen of the romantic comedy".
A spokesperson for the awards says, "Meg Ryan is among the most attractive, talented and successful female stars that Hollywood ever produced.
"Her smile is irresistible, her comedic talent delightful and her performance in When Harry Met Sally unforgettable."
The actress is expected to collect her prize at the gala ceremony in Munich, Germany on 27 November (08).
Perfume lands Prince with lawsuit
Soul superstar Prince is facing legal action from a perfume company after allegedly failing to fulfil duties to promote a scent named after his 2006 album 3121.
Fragrance manufacturer Revelations is suing the Purple Rain icon for breach of contract, claiming the singer refused to commit to promotional activities to which he and his label Universal Music Publishing Group had agreed.
In a suit filed at New York's Supreme Court, Revelations reportedly signed a deal with the music label that would see them receive 50 per cent of the profits of the perfume's sales in exchange for arranging for the star to take part in promotional campaigns.
In the lawsuit, Revelations state: "Since July 2007, despite repeated attempts by Revelations there have been virtually no communications from anyone who could commit to or coordinate any promotional efforts by Prince."
However, Universal refuse to accept the claims, responding in a statement that the company's accusations are "completely without merit".
This is the second legal battle Prince has faced this month (Nov08) - he was ordered to pay $58,000 (?36,700) for using the services of a video editor after he was sued by the technician for unpaid wages.

Jolie's tears for late mother
Angelina Jolie broke down in tears on Monday (17Nov08) as she revealed her late mother inspired her to take on the lead role in new movie CHANGELING.
The actress plays Christine Collins, a woman who's left devastated by the disapperance of her young son in the Clint Eastwood-directed film.
And at a press conference in London to promote the movie, Jolie recalled the passion and dedication of her own mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died of cancer in 2007.
Fighting back the tears, Jolie said, "She was really sweet and was never angry - she couldn't swear to save her life. But when it came to her kids, she was really fierce and so this is very much her, her story. She is Christine Collins.
"She was the woman I related to, who had that elegance and strength through just knowing what was right."
Jolie is already being tipped for an Oscar nomination at next year's ceremony (09) after she wowed critics with her moving performance in the film.
Clooney E.R. return still on?
George Clooney is all set for a return to E.R., according to former castmate Noah Wyle.
Clooney has made it clear in recent months he will not reprise his Dr. Doug Ross character for the medical drama's finale, but pal Wyle insists there are secret plans to bring the movie star back to the show where he got his big break.
Wyle says, "From what I heard, George said, 'Absolutely, schedule permitting'."
And the actor reveals Clooney won't be the only former castmate coming back for episodes next year (09) - he'll be starring in a storyline opposite Eriq La Salle.
But not everyone is keen to return to the show - Juliana Margulies turned down an invitation to reprise her role for the final series of the medical drama, because she doesn't think her character's storyline can be improved. Margulies portrayed nurse Carol Hathaway on the show.

She tells HollyScoop.com, "I'm going to cook a big meal for all my ex-patriate American friends over there."
