It's almost certain that there will be a court fight over who gets custody of the late Michael Jackson's three children.
Experts say the person who has the strongest legal claim to Jackson's two oldest children, ages 11 and 12, is their mother, Deborah Rowe. As for the youngest child, Jackson's wishes would be more influential. The seven-year-old boy is his biological son, but he was born to a surrogate mother, whose identity has never been made public.
It's not clear if Jackson designated potential guardians for his children.
Those details, likely contained in his will, have not been released.
A person close to the family tells The Associated Press that Jackson never told them who was handling his business affairs.
The source says Jackson's advisers have told the family that he likely had a will but that it may be many years old.
