Britney Spears' 2008 Mercedes-Benz car was towed from a Westwood street after she got a flat tire, police said Tuesday.
Spears abandoned the vehicle on Sunset Boulevard at the San Diego (405) Freeway about 8 p.m. Monday night, Los Angeles police Officer Karen Smith said.
According to the celebrity news Web site TMZ.com, Spears got into a paparazzo's car and was driven home. Her car was towed to a lot, and she will be charged $104 for the tow and $35.60 for storage, TMZ reported.
Later, Spears apparently went to the Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny Drive and Burton Way, where she was escorted out by hotel security, the Daily news reported.
Paparazzi were in tow, and one of them kicked a security guard, who called police, the newspaper reported.
"LAPD took a battery report from the security guard but the paparazzi wasn't there," said LAPD spokesman Mike Lopez said. "We're looking for a male, with a camera."
