Has Victoria's Secret become "too sexy" for its own good? Sharen Turney, Victoria's Secret's chief executive, thinks so.
The lingerie company started in San Francisco in 1977. Victoria's Secret was launched with the idea that the fictitious Victoria was born in a manor and lived in London.
Now she wants Victoria's Secret to increase its level of sophistication and return to those roots -- however imaginary by focusing more on product quality.
