Actor From TV's 'Terminator' Arrested For DUI
NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBS) ―
Actor Thomas Dekker was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of driving drunk as well as hitting a bicyclist in North Hollywood, the California Highway Patrol reports.
Dekker was driving a 2004 Toyota Matrix east on Burbank Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. when he turned right to get on the Hollywood (170) Freeway and struck Arthur A. Elorza, 17, of North Hollywood.
Elorza, who was riding a bicycle in a crosswalk, was taken to Providence St. Joseph Hospital with minor injuries.
Dekker was later booked into the Van Nuys Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage resulting in an injury to a party involved in a traffic collision.
He was released Thursday on $100,000 bail.
Dekker portrayed John Connor on the TV show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," and has also appeared on "Heroes," "7th Heaven," and
"House."
On his imdb.com bio page, Dekker says his role model is River Phoenix.
