'Survivor' Stephannie Falls Out Of Favor

NEW YORK (CBS) ― This week's "Survivor" lesson? Keep your cravings for mashed potatoes to yourself.

The men of the Raro tribe started the night working awfully hard, gathering wood and food, worried that the women were forming an alliance to boot them. It proved not to be an issue.

Raro briefly bonded in annoyance at the Aitu tribe's resident flake, Cao Boi. He led a boat expedition of two of his tribemates to Raro's camp, surprising and annoying its inhabitants. They really got annoyed when Cao Boi launched into a lengthy monologue about Chinese philosophy and asked for some of Aitu's spices.

Ah, no. See you later, Cao Boi.

Raro couldn't keep it together to win immunity, during another torturous challenge that involved balancing on poles and crowding eight people onto a tiny platform in the water.

Cristinna seemed to be a target. Her tribemates consider her bossy, and really didn't like it when she inadvertently lost several pieces of dinner - an octopus - in the water.

An offhand comment Stephannie Favor made about looking forward to some mashed potatoes and gravy led to others thinking she had mentally checked out of the game. Stephannie thought they were nuts.

"It's amazing how one little thing can be taken out of context," she said.

Maybe. But life isn't fair, is it? Her torch was snuffed out.

Favor was born and raised in Columbia, S.C. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in business management and marketing from Clemson University in 1993. She was previously in the United States Armed Forces and served in Desert Storm during the Gulf War.
