Actress Rachel Weisz Gives Birth To Baby Boy

LOS ANGELES (AP) ― It's a boy for Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz and her fiance, director Darren Aronofsky.

A Weisz spokeswoman says the couple had their first child Thursday in New York. No other details were made available.

The 35-year-old Weisz won an Oscar in March for her portrayal of a political activist in "The Constant Gardener." Later this year, she can be seen in "The Fountain," which Aronofsky directed.

Aronofsky wrote and directed 2000's "Requiem for a Dream."
