Hollywood Reacts To Losing Paul Newman
LOS ANGELES (AP) ― Paul Newman's Hollywood career spanned more than 50 years. The iconic actor was a ten-time Academy Award nominee, finally winning in 1987 for "The Color of Money." A year earlier, he had won an honorary Oscar. And in 1994, he picked up a third Oscar, the Academy's Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his charitable work. His final Oscar nomination came for a supporting role in 2002's "Road to Perdition." Newman died Friday at the Connecticut home he shared with his wife of a half-century, actress Joanne Woodward. He was 83.
