Katey Sagal Testifies In Wrongful Death Lawsuit

GLENDALE (AP) ― Actress Katey Sagal has testified in a wrongful-death lawsuit against doctors who treated actor John Ritter before his death in 2003.

Sagal shed a few tears Tuesday in Glendale Superior Court as she emembered Ritter as a kind, loving and funny colleague.

Sagal played Ritter's wife on the show "8 Simple Rules ... For Dating My Teenage Daughter."

She was called to testify on behalf of Ritter's family to show the loss they suffered.
