Stamp Featuring Frank Sinatra Being Issued

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) ― Ol' Blue Eyes will be in hand when the postman ring-a-dings.

A stamp commemorating Frank Sinatra will be unveiled next Wednesday -- Sinatra's birthday -- at a ceremony in Beverly Hills.

Postal authorities will officially issue the stamp image in the spring.

Sinatra won an Oscar, several Grammy awards and was recognized at the Kennedy Center Honors in 1983. President Reagan awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1985.

Sinatra died in 1998. The post office in his hometown of Hoboken was renamed in his honor in 2002.
