Ex-Spice Girl's Publicist Says DNA Test Confirms Eddie Murphy Is Father Of 2-Month-Old Girl

(CBS) Scary Spice's people say the results of a DNA test are in and Eddie Murphy is the father of Melanie Brown's daughter.

Brown's rep tells People magazine that DNA tests confirm that Murphy is the father of Brown's 2-month-old daughter.

Murphy had told a Dutch TV show late last year that he didn't know whom the father was and would take a blood test. Murphy reportedly took the DNA test earlier this week.

Angel Iris Murphy Brown weighed in at 5 pounds, 4 ounces when she was born at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. on April 3.

A rep for Murphy told The ShowBuzz in an email Friday that he does not comment on his client's personal life.
