TMZ: Eddie Murphy Splits From Wife Of 15 Days
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
The web site TMZ.com reports funnyman Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds, Babyface's ex, have already ended their marriage.
The couple got hitched on New Year's day 2008...and didn't make it to the end of January.
Through a spokesperson, the couple announced they were ending their marriage but staying "friends."
The duo (who started dating in October 2006) got married just off the tropical island of Bora Bora with friends and family present.
Murphy was previously linked with Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown of the Spice Girls...she gave birth to a baby daughter about the time she and Murphy were going through an acrimonious break up.
Murphy originally denied he was the father of the baby pending "a blood test." Tests later confirmed Murphy was indeed the dad.
Murphy has five other children with his ex wife Nicole. Edmonds has two children with Babyface.
No reason was given for the split.
