English soccer star David Beckham flew to London by private jet for a birthday bash on Wednesday with family and friends, Hello magazine reported Thursday.
Victoria Beckham's former Spice Girl bandmates — Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell — were at the soiree held at Cipriani restaurant in London's West End. Bunton is pregnant with her first child.
British chef-reality star Gordon Ramsay and his wife, Tara, were also in tow.
Beckham turned 32 on Wednesday. His wife, Victoria, aka Posh, showed up for the party in black shift dress and David, who recently bleached his hair blonde, wore a navy suit.
The magazine reports that earlier in the day Beckham got a tour of London shops and Victoria purchased a pricey watch, suit and custom-made shoes, among other things, for her husband.
"She got permission from Real Madrid, but David had no idea what for. He was touched and loved every minute of it," a pal told the magazine.
Beckham announced earlier this year that he signed a five-year contract with Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.
"Extra" reported this week that the Beckhams purchased a $22 million home that is a stone's throw from their pals, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
