Group Puts Sunscreen Products To The Test

The Southland has been hit with an excessive heat warning over the past several days.
The heat alert, which comes as no surprise to many, may prompt consumers to want protect themselves against harmful ultraviolet rays. But what sunscreen product is the most effective?
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has created a new sunscreen guide, which indicates what products have the strongest sun protection factor (SPF) and may be the most effective.
According to an investigation conducted by the EWG, several hundred sunscreen products contain hazardous products or don't protect the consumer from the sun. Click
