City Announces Private School Pools Going Public

LAUSD Pools Will Be Open To The General Public In Summer Months

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― Over the next four years, 14 LAUSD pools now closed to the public will become open and available for people to cool down in!

The existing pools are located at Banning High School, Cleveland High School, Fremont High School, Panorama High School, Roosevelt High School, Santee Education Complex, Venice High School, West Adams Prepatory High School and Yosemite Recreation Center at Eagle Rock High School.

In addition to the aforementioned schools, the city will include five pools that will be built and open by 2012 including Central Los Angeles New Learning Center, Central Los Angeles High School, East Valley High School, South Regional High School and Helen Bernstein High School.
