Suspected DUI Driver Ends Police Chase With Crash

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBS) ― A driver suspected to be drunk led police on a chase in a sport utility vehicle and crashed early Saturday on the Hollywood (101) Freeway near Lankershim Boulevard.

The pursuit ended about 2:10 a.m., said a duty officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station.

The driver and two other people in the vehicle were all checked out for minor injuries, and the driver was taken away in handcuffs, according to a video reporter at the crash scene.
