A motorist was killed when a suspect in a police chase rammed into two vehicles in an Anaheim intersection Monday, pushing the victim's car into an apartment building, police said.
Police were responding to a domestic violence call when they found a vehicle parked in a parking lot. The car took off, leading police on a high-speed pursuit.
The suspect drove his pickup into an intersection against a red light and smashed into two cars at approximately 8 p.m. at the intersection of Magnolia and Crescent avenues.
One of the cars was pushed into an apartment building and the driver was killed.
The suspect's car was thrown 100 yards and then tipped on its side, police said. The suspect was in critical condition and transported to a local hospital.
